Ahhh.... Author of "dragon bodyguard". Novel reminds me of "my wife is a beautiful CEO", "goddess bodyguard" and "my cold beautiful wife". My beautiful wife CEO and goddess bodyguard are probably my most favorite.

Oh my.... O-O it seems like someone has been following another writer's success. Can't blame him because because I rated "my wife is a beautiful CEO" as the best Chinese novel I've read so far, and yes the mc is not the most likeable but you'll understand him when what he has been through. Can't blame anyone else who tries to write a similar novel because the same writer tries to write the same novel and expand it as "my cold (iceberg) beautiful wife". But then I really loved "goddess bodyguard" because it is a more clear headed and more mature MC and less frivolous actions compared with the CEO novel.

He's not exmilitary, more like underworld assassin/mercenary... To be exact a Greek god. He fkd her that's why she forced him a marriage contract, because she's traditional. But that was arranged by another Greek god, so he actually had it with a Greek god(sex counter one). Then they were dry until she gave it to him in her office after probably 300 or so episode ups and downs (sex counter two). Then after that he had sex with her again but taken possession by his dead exgf that looks exactly like her (sex counter three). So yea... A guy who fkd a lady with three different personalities.lols probably My favorite novel.

🤔 nah... That's more like a sample instead of a spoiler. There are more outrageous things in the novel that I didn't talk about. How about trying to clone the MC, or that the queen on the run gave her body to a 14 year old for survival (Infront of her own daughter).

Yeah you're right, I was thinking like damn, he's much more OP though ahaha. It's interesting, I was underestimating it, so I'll see how it's measures up.

But I do like Yuan Long a little better though, since it was more "realistic" or equalled out not making him super OP and the people of the world he was isekai'd to wasn't weak peasants to him. Showing even with his advanced gadgets that there was still individuals out there that could fight back and their world's mystical arts allowed them to go toe to toe with the MC. Otherwise he'd be massacring them all and become emperor in months smh.

This though, he easily destroyed them all, their powers were swatted away like flies like they were inferior by far. And now he has this divine "inheritance" making it even more unfair. I want him to at least be in danger sometimes and work for it smh, so hopefully they balance it out more.

Now this is a clash of culture. It sort of remind me of the Novel ' Release That Witch '. I wonder will this Donghua be as good as the mentioned Manhua.

First impression: Not good.

I didn't like how Yuan Long, a show very similar to this, turned out. That alone makes me worried when they try to merge technology and cultivation.
The only show that has successfully managed to do that so far is Tunshi Xingkong (= Swallowed Star).

The first episode is too chaotic. The main character is thrown into the action but he seems almost too OP even for the huge group of enemies.

No power balance has been established. The goons are throwing usual cultivation skills at MC, while he is pulling out grenades, guns, and (I almost closed the episode when he pulled out this) rocket launcher.
Also why is he moving like that? I get that he got some bullshit inheritance, but I assume he was a normal human scientist who suddenly found himself in a fantasy world. So how can this guy jump, dodge and fight back? Why isn't he just running away?

At first I thought he only used a taser type gun or non lethal bullets until they started talking about "revenge" and payback for their "master" lol. Damn, can't blame him though, their master was hella aggressive and tried to kill him and rob him for this "inheritance" smh. He technically was defending himself, but unreasonable people don't listen to reason nor can be reasoned with.
